Balkan grocery and restaurant
Eddie’s Euromart started as a family business. We created this company with the goal in mind of spreading the traditions of our family and our relationship with food.
Enver Kolenovic or “Eddie” has always had a love of food and since he moved to the Dallas area to become Eddie Kola, he has started a number of restaurants including Eddie’s Napoli’s and the Euromart. Growing up in Yugoslavia, Kola comes from a longstanding history of people in the restaurant business. He grew up playing with dough and found that cooking was his favorite duty when conscripted into the Navy.
Euromart was opened in an area that was unheard of and with the help of two Bosnian cooks and friends of the family, Amela Mujanovic, and Mirsada Omanovic. Both ladies were invited to work at the Euromart producing authentic food with the hopes of building a community.
Years later after starting this business in an industrial area of Dallas, Eddie’s Euromart remains a thriving restaurant and grocery store. The owner still loves striking up a conversation with customers and talking about Albania, Romania, and eastern Europe. The store stocks a wide range of items from Albania, Macedonia, Bosnia, and more. There is now one of the widest selections of imported snacks, teas, coffees, cheeses, and sausages in the greater Dallas area from these regions.
Today the Euromart is producing over 300 pita pies each day, continuing to produce its famous dishes like Bulgarian feta and offering catering, takeout, and quality groceries in the greater Dallas area.
Come find us at 12243 E Northwest Hwy #300 and enjoy the best in Eastern European food and ingredients.
